Aquona is committed to diversity, equality of treatment and inclusion

We join the Companies Committed to Diversity Network (Red+D)

This morning, the network Red Acoge accredited Aquona as a new member of Red+D, a network of companies committed to diversity. The director of Aquona, Jesús García del Valle, received this credential, which endorses Aquona's public commitment to promoting measures that improve the management of diversity, equality of treatment and inclusion.

At the event, a collaboration agreement was also signed, whereby  Red Acoge and Aquona will work together on activities designed to improve the management of diversity in the company.

Aquona's membership in Red+D represents progress towards business policies that promote the creation of an inclusive work environment, free from any kind of discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity.

Thus, Aquona, continuing on a path that it first took years ago, will undertake actions to guarantee equality and which serve as a sustainable model for business management.

In 2009, Aquona implemented its first Equality Plan and created an Equality Committee to safeguard the development of the measures considered in the plan. Since then, the company has promoted equal opportunities by creating inclusive, diverse environments. Aquona promotes equal opportunities in the selection, training and development of professional careers, and guarantees compliance with legislation on functional diversity. The company establishes integration objectives beyond those defined in legislation.
