Aquona, as a company that is committed to health at work and improving the life of its employees, joins the Luxembourg Declaration

Aquona, as a company that is committed to health at work and improving the life of its employees, has joined the Luxembourg Declaration. With this action, Aquona adopts a series of basic principles for acting in the framework of good company employee health management.

The Luxembourg Declaration is a living document, through which Aquona is committed to managing its employees' health from an integrated perspective, and considering health in all company policies. It is a step towards improving the health and welfare of people: Aquona's main asset.

Among other actions, Aquona has intensified its commitment to healthy habits in the workplace through actions such as practising sports, functional training, healthy breakfasts or talks on nutrition. Thus, Aquona is an active contributor to the Network of Healthy Companies project.
A total of 185 Aquona employees participated actively in the Healthy Habits programme during 2017 through activities such as:

  • Programme to prevent and treat nicotine addiction.
  • Talk on nutrition.
  • Course on stress reduction.
  • Charity races, water gym and hypopressive equipment, climbing, padel, bike and TRX.
  • Hiking activities.

Health promotion in the workplace leads to a reduction in diseases, an increase in productivity and a healthier, more motivated population of employees, with greater morale and a better work climate.
