Aquona connects Zamoranos through ‘The Value of Water in Zamora’

Today, March 22, is celebrated the World Water Day sponsored by the United Nations. In 2021 its motto is the 'value of water' and from Aquona, a company that manages the city's municipal water service, citizens are invited to become aware of the meaning that this element has for each of us, but above all , of the value that liquid element has for the capital of Zamora.

To this end, the company today premieres ‘The Value of Water in Zamora’, an audiovisual campaign, composed of four clips whose protagonists are familiar faces of Zamora society. "The objective is to express through their voices the DNA of #ZamoraEsAgua, that is, the city project that we promote through the management of the municipal water service," says Nicolás Esmorís, manager of Aquona in Zamora, who adds that , for the company, "water in Zamora is synonymous with sustainability, history, nature, culture, health, improvement and social commitment, but, above all, of development".

Who better to evoke these concepts than Miguel Álvarez, artist and one of the visible faces of the musical culture of Zamora, or the canoeist and champion of Spain from Ríos, Laura Pedruelo, a faithful reflection of the combination between nature and self-improvement. A spirit of improvement that is also shared by the entire Autismo Zamora team, whose president, Maribel Ramos, will speak of the social value that water has for the city. Finally, Goyo Nogueira, a worker at Aquona Zamora and a clear example of the vocation of service and constant evolution that the company has maintained in the city for more than 50 years.

The videos will be broadcast on Aquona's YouTube channel and its Twitter profile, @InfoAquona. The first will be published today on the occasion of World Water Day and will be starring Laura Pedruelo, Durius kayak canoeist and champion of Spain in Ríos, among many other titles that, despite her youth, accumulate in the list of honors of she. Starting today, the launch of a daily video is scheduled until next Thursday, March 25.

"On this important date we always try to bring sustainable water management closer to the residents of the city and generate a bond of union, but we were clear that this year, due to the sanitary context, we wanted to do it in a more special way", highlights Nicolás Esmorís, manager of Aquona in Zamora. From this desire arose the idea of doing it in a digital way that has materialized thanks to the collaboration of Aventos Producciones Audiovisuales.

Aquona invites all Zamorans to connect through this initiative based on technology and digitization so that water, the city and its inhabitants feel closer than ever.
