More than 2,200 students participated in Aquona's environmental awareness program

We consolidate our commitment to environmental education, reinforcing Aqualogía with a virtual water classroom.

Aqualogía, Aquona's educational program, has been touring Primary classrooms in Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León for seven years. Today, coinciding with the celebration of World Environmental Education Day, the company wants to further strengthen its commitment to environmental awareness and the promotion of the 2030 Agenda that it carries out with the help of city councils and local entities in the 130 municipalities in which it is present.

During the 2019-2020 academic year, clearly marked by the pandemic that we are experiencing, around 2,200 boys and girls entered the urban water cycle and the responsible use of natural resources in more than a hundred workshops of Aqualogía.

Now, Aquona digitizes its educational program in order to guarantee access at all times to content and teaching resources, either from the classroom or from home. In addition to guiding the students through 'the journey' that water makes from the moment it is captured, reaches our homes and is subsequently returned to the natural environment in perfect condition and / or reused, Aqualogía introduces aspects related to action on change climate and sustainability, with interactive games, experiments and challenges posed by the characters in Aqualogía.
