Aqualogía: water's journey
At Aquona we invest in environmental education and dissemination of the water culture at the earliest ages. For this reason, through our Aqualogía education programme, we bring the urban water cycle and the need to protect this limited resource to primary school pupils in the towns where we operate.
Using interactive resources and participative workshops, young children can learn through classroom play about the various water cycle stages and good environmental practices, such as how to recognise products that should not be thrown in the toilet, like wet wipes.
In 2018, around 3,700 children took part in over 150 sessions that were held at schools in Castile-La Mancha and Castile and León
